Harmonics Tabulation
The harmonics result tabulation in the Harmonics Table supplies both integer and non-integer multiples of the
Base Frequency. When integer display is selected in the Harmonics Configuration, it is a complete 0 to 50
th
harmonic decomposition including THD. When integer display is not selected, it is a decomposition from 0.0 to
51.1 times Base Frequency in steps of 0.1 per unit Hz, with THD.
Note that different from the Phasor Diagram integer harmonic tabulation, this Harmonics Table will not falsely
spread non-integer frequency energy to nearby integer harmonics. The integer harmonic bar chart and tabulated
results are extracted from a fully decomposed spectrum where non-integer frequencies are simply ignored. This
gives a more accurate picture of true "harmonic" components.
Each decomposition is performed on a 10 cycle, 1024 point capture of input wave data. The 0 harmonic is the
DC component. All magnitudes and angles for all signals cannot fit within the display area, so the user is
allowed to choose columns as defined in the Harmonics Configuration. Several toolbar buttons can be used to
move quickly through all display options.
