Edit Modem Parameters (-M)
If the site is to be upgraded, the following program must be run.

Select option 4 from the Main Menu (NBS -M) or type MODEMS at the command line to set
up the modem. The Edit Modem Parameters screen appears.

Select Item Number 1 - Modem Name. The Select Modem Name screen appears (screen may
have a different list than the one shown below).

Select the modem for the system; enter the correct baud rate and port. Change the baud setting
by entering the number next to the baud rate shown at the bottom of the screen. For example,
entering 2 will set the baud rate at 1200.
If VSAT is used, the baud rate must be set to 2400.
For port, enter the port number (4 - 6). For example, entering a 4 will set the port to 4.

Select SAVE after setting up the modem.
Note: If you select Quit, you are given a second chance to save any changes. At the prompt
“Quit without saving changes [y/n]”, select No > Save to save the changes.
