Working from multiple user stations
If your Show Control System is set up to include multiple operators working from multiple Show Control
user stations simultaneously, Display Studio fully supports that type of interaction. Display Studio is
designed to be operated and managed on multiple user stations simultaneously, with no interruptions to
any user as changes occur.
Any time a change is made from another user station to a Display Studio workspace that you are currently
working in, that change will be reflected on your user station virtually instantaneously, and a notification
resembling the following example will appear to indicate that the change occurred.
Note: You will not be notified of changes that are made to any workspace that you do not currently have
open.
Backing up and restoring your workspaces
Backup and restoration of your Nucleus database (and consequently your workspaces) is handled by the
Nucleus Database Utility. This tool allows you to leverage the backup data files to restore a database
across different machines, perform manual backups and restorations, as well as support multiple different
Show Control System configurations.
To launch the Nucleus Database Utility, navigate to Start menu > All Programs > Daktronics >
Utilities > Nucleus Database Utility.
Warning
: The Daktronics/Nucleus Database Utility is an advanced tool and should only
be used by, or under the direction of, a Daktronics technician.
