Configuration Using the Web Interface
SNMP Traps
SNMP Trap is the notification feature defined by SNMP protocol.
All the SNMP management applications can understand such
trap information. So you do not need to install new applications
to read the notification information.
You can see the change of the SNMP pre-defined standard traps and Comtrol pre-defined traps. The pre-
defined traps can be found on the
Comtrol ftp site .
Note: You must Save the settings ( Page 123 ), if you want to maintain these settings if the ES8510 is powered
off.

SNMP Trap
Click Enable or Disable SNMP trap
functionality.
Apply
Click Apply to apply the settings.

SNMP Trap Server
Server IP The SNMP trap server IP address.
Community The SNMP trap server community string.
Version The SNMP trap version, V1 or V2c.
Add Click the Add button to add a SNMP server.
Trap Server Profile
Server IP The SNMP trap server IP address
Community The SNMP trap server community string.
Version The SNMP trap version, V1 or V2c.
Remove
Click the Remove button to remove selected
SNMP server.
Reload
Click the Reload button to reload SNMP server
information.
