Manual Reception

Telephone

While in the manual reception mode (Tel. Ready), instruct your Brother FAX to
start receiving after you pick up the handset of an external telephone. This is
called remote reception.

activate remote reception, press "6" button

the telephone t\A/ice within

one second. Note that if the telephone line is a DP signal line, special settings
must be applied to your FAX. Ask your Brother Service Representative for the

setting instructions.
