7. Using the Voice Variator
• Brightness
The Voice Variator @ allows you to alter both
the “brightness”, and attack or decay of the
voices in 5 stages for 400 different Orchestra
sounds. Pressing the BRIGHT selector will
yield a brighter sound while the MELLOW
selector provides a more mellow sound. Each
of these has two stages of effect (e.g. Bright 2,
Bright 1, Neutral, Mellow 1, Mellow 2). The
corresponding LED lights up when BRIGHT
or MELLOW is pressed. Pressing both at the
same time allows you to return to the neutral
(preset) position.

Mit dem Stimmen-Variator @ können “Hellig­
keit” und Anschlag oder Abklingen der
Stimmen in 5 Stufen verändert werden, so daß
Sie 400 verschiedene Orchestertöne erhalten.
Durch Drücken des BRIGHT-Schalters wird
ein hellerer Ton erzielt, während der
MELLOW-Schalter einen weicheren Ton her­
vorbringt, Beide Schalter sind in zwei Stufen
wirksam (z.B. Bright 2, Bright 1, Neutral, Mel­
low 1, Mellow 2). Bei Drücken von BRIGHT
oder MELLOW leuchten die entsprechenden
Lämpchen auf. Durch gleichzeitiges Drücken
beider Schalter können Sie in die neutrale
(normale) Position zurückkehren.
7. Emploi du variateur de voix
• Clarté
Le variateur de voix @ vous permet de modi­
fier à la fois la “clarté” et Tattaque ou l’éva­
nouissement des voix et ce, par palier et pour
les 400 sonorités Orchestra. Si vous appuyez
sur le sélecteur BRIGHT, le son est plus “clair”
tandis que si vous employez le sélecteur MEL­
LOW, le son est plus “feutré”. Ces deux sélec­
teurs possèdent chacun deux niveaux d’effet;
au total, il y a cinq niveaux (Bright 2, Bright 1,
Neutre, Mellow 1 et Mellow 2). La diode élec­
troluminescente associée à chacun des sélec­
teurs s’éclaire en fonction du choix que vous
avez effectué. Si vous appuyez en même
temps sur ces deux sélecteurs, vous revenez
dans le réglage neutre (qui est le réglage par
défaut).

El variador de voces @ le permite cambiar la
“brillantez” y la acometida o la atenuación de
las voces en 5 etapas para lograr 400 sonidos
distintos de orquesta. Al pulsar el selector
BRIGHT se obtiene un sonido más brillante,
mientras que el selector MELLOW da un soni­
do más melodioso. Cada uno de ellos tiene
dos etapas de efectos (por ejemplo. Bright 2,
Bright 1, Neutral, Mellow 1, Mellow 2). El LED
correspondiente se enciende al pulsarse
BRIGHT o MELLOW. Para volver a la posición
neutral (prefijada) se pulsan ambos selectores
al mismo tiempo.
• Attack
The attack or decay of the sound can be al­
tered, in the same manner as brightness, be­
tween Slow 2 and Fast 2. Pressing both FAST
and SLOW will reset the preset attack for the
Orchestra voice.
• Anschlag
Wie die “Helligkeit” kann der Anschlag oder
das Abklingen der Töne zwischen Slow 2 und
Fast 2 verändert werden. Gleichzeitiges
Drücken von FAST und SLOW stellt zu dem
für die Orchesterstimmen fest einprogram­
mierten Anschlag zurück.
• Attaque
L’attaque ou l’évanouissement peuvent égale­
ment être modifiés, et de la même manière
que la “clarté”. Le choix s’étend entre Slow 2
et Fast 2. Si vous appuyez à la fois sur les
sélecteurs SLOW et FAST, vous revenez dans
le réglage neutre (par défaut) de l’attaque
pour la voix Orchestra envisagée.
• Acometida
La acometida o la atenuación del sonido se
pueden variar, al igual que la brillantez, entre
Slow 2 y Fast 2. Pulsando FAST y SLOW se re-
posiciona el ataque prefijado de la voz de or­
questa.
