Using the Voice Variator
Operation of the Voice Variator @ is identical
to the Orchestra section. It alters the bright­
ness, and attack or decay for 400 different
Solo voice sounds.
Advanced ciass 1:
Time for a more accomplished performance.
Here’s how to enjoy an ensemble perfor­
mance featuring a combination of Solo and
Orchestra voices.
1.
Press the ORCHESTRA ON/OFF® and
SOLO ON/OFF ® switches to turn both
sections on.
2. Set the ORCHESTRA VOLUME control®)
at MAX and the SOLO VOLUME control (g
at about the three-quarters position.
3. Decide on your combination of Orchestra
and Solo voices. Some examples are
shown below.

4. Now, if a chord is played a Solo voice is
added to the highest note of the chord,
resulting in a beautiful ensemble effect.
