The fertilizer sub-frame reservoir location is used with
625A/825A planters that have a fertilizer sub-frame. It
applies to kits 401-849A and 411-167A, which have this
component unique to the fertilizer sub-frame location:
401-844L 6 8 FERT HYD RES W/ FILTER
This tank weldment has a two side-facing mount
plates
and straight bolts, designed to straddle the
center rib of the fertilizer sub-frame.
75. Select one new:
401-844L 6 8 FERT HYD RES W/ FILTER
and four sets new:

804-015C WASHER LOCK SPRING 1/2 PLT
803-020C NUT HEX 1/2-13 PLT

76. With the front face (which has the sight gauge
)
facing forward, lower the reservoir weldment down
over the forward end of the center rib
of the
fertilizer sub-frame. Position it as far forward on the
rib as possible.
77. Insert two bolts
through the top holes of the
weldment plates, routing them underneath all
hydraulic hoses
present.
Insert the remaining two bolts through the lower
side plate holes, and under the frame rib.
Secure all bolts with lock washers
and nuts
.
