Support Row Unit
Refer to Figure 48
71. Use a grease pencil to mark, on the back of the tool
bar, the station of the designated row unit.
72. Use a hoist and multiple lines to support the weight
of the row unit.
73. Remove the two U-bolts and four sets of washers
and nuts. These fasteners are not re-used.
Mount Row Unit Reservoir
74. Select one new:
401-842L HYD RES W/ FILTER ASSY
and four sets new:
802-105C HHCS 5/8-11X9 GR5
804-022C WASHER LOCK SPRING 5/8 PLT
803-021C NUT HEX 5/8-11 PLT
With the decal side facing forward, align the mount
plate with the holes in the row unit mount. Verify row
unit station on the tool bar. Secure reservoir plate
and row unit mount to tool bar with bolts
, lock
washers and nuts .
