Installation of WinCueProNews
In this chapter you will learn how to install WinCueProNews on your PC. First we will examine the
hardware and software you need, and then we will cover the hardware and software installation process.
1 Installing WinCueProNews on your PC
1.1 Minimum Hardware Requirements
WinCueProNews will run on two different operating systems; Windows 95 and Windows NT
4.0. The minimum hardware requirements for a PC running WinCueProNews will depend on
the operating system you wish to use. Refer to the panels below:
Windows 95
100MHz Pentium processor
32Mb RAM
50Mb free disk space
SCSI card Adaptec 2906 for desktop, 1460 PCMIA for laptop
VL bus or PCI bus graphics card (PCI preferred)
640x480 colour VGA display (800x600 highly recommended)
Windows NT 4.0
100 MHz Pentium processor
32Mb RAM
50Mb free disk space
SCSI card Adaptec 2906 for desktop, 1460 PCMIA for laptop
VL bus or PCI bus graphics card (PCI preferred)
640x480 16 colour VGA display (800x600 highly recommended)
