A single instance (instance 1) of the Identity Object is supported. The following instance
attributes are supported.
➊ The value of the Distributed Starter Type attribute (attribute 63) in the DeviceNet Interface Object (Class code
0xB4) at power up determines the product type, product code and name string that the MDSA reports in
attributes 2, 3 and 7 of the Identity object. Note that the Distributed Starter Type attribute only exists for Cat.
No. 198-DNG units. The values of identity object attributes 2, 3 and 7 are given in the table below.
