Appendix
Parameter live
Actual current sound pressure level.
Parameter max
Maximum sound level of the measurement cycle.
Parameter min
Minimum sound level of the measurement cycle.
Correction Value off
No correction value, default setting.
Peak Level
Application example:
Measure LCpeak in accordance with DIN15905
The RTA spectrum analyzer measures the true peak
level with the optional Extended Acoustic Pack. The
peak hold time can be set to 0, 1 or 5 seconds.
Previous Leq
Applicable for timer mode Repeat or Repeat Syn-
chronized; displays the time-averaged sound level
Leq of the last measurement cycle.
Percentile Sound Level - Level Statistics
The statistical distribution of sound pressure levels
is commonly used for environmental noise analy-
sis, such as road traffic or community noise as-
sessments. For example LAFxx% is the noise level
exceeded during xx% of the measurement period;
e.g., LAF90% is the noise level exceeded during
90% of the measurement period.
Please see the specifications at chapter Technical
Data XL2: Functions of Extended Acoustic Pack
(optional) in this manual.
Slow Time Weighting
Time constant t = 1 second; the time-weighting is
an exponential function of time, which defines how
changes of the instantaneous sound pressure level
are averaged for useful sound level results.
Parameter T3
Clock-Impulse Maximum Level (Taktmaximalpegel)
LAFT3 in accordance with DIN 45645-1.
Maximum sound pressure level measured with fre-
quency weighting A and time weighting F within a
time interval of 3 seconds.
