Status of the DP state machine (DP-STATE)

WAIT_PRM

The slave waits for a parameter data telegram after

acceleration. Other types of telegrams will not be processed.

Data exchange is not yet possible.

WAIT_CFG

The slave waits for the configuration telegram that specifies

the number of input and output bytes. The master informs

the slave about the number of I/O bytes that will be

transferred.

DATA_EXCH

If the parameter settings as well as the configuration have

been accepted by the firmware and by the application, the

slave state changes to DATA_EXCH ("Data Exchange",

exchange of user data with the master).
