Positioning the central processing unit on the DIN rail and starting up the system
Step Activity
1 Loosen screws (B) and remove.
2 Take of the upper part of the case (C).
Step Activity
1 Select expansion slot: Com1 (D) slot or Com2 (E) slot. The diagram shows the slots with
modules already assembled.
2 Carefully move module (D) or (E) into position until the plug-in connection is connected.
When doing so, ensure that the mounting bracket (F) is located as shown next to the
module and that the holes in the module are aligned with the holes in the mounting bracket.
3 Insert expanding rivet (G) from the left through the holes in the module and the mounting
bracket. Then push the pin (H) into the expanding rivet until the module and mounting
bracket are firmly connected.
Step Activity
1 Place the upper part of the case (C) in position.
2 Insert screws (B) and tighten.
Step Activity
1 Position the central processing unit on the DIN rail and connect the other modules to the
central processing unit. To do this, please follow the instructions on dismounting previously
provided in this document.
2 If necessary, reconnect the connection cables (Setup, LAN, Bus Out).
3 Attach wired terminal strip (A). Restart the system.
