8 Select the Calibration check box and type 1 for Calibration level. See Figure
7-50 .
NOTE: For the initial calibration, clear any of the boxes involving calibrations
or replicates. However, if the method was previously calibrated and the
calibrated information needs to be replaced, select Clear all
calibration before starting.

9 Click Start after completing the window. See Figure 7-51 .

When the analysis is complete, the chromatogram will be integrated, and the areas
for the peaks identified as calibration compounds will be entered into the method.
In addition, a calibration curve will be generated using these areas. The method is
now calibrated for a single level.
