Aligning Ink Cartridges
This feature allows you to check and align the ink cartridges to assure best print
quality. Make sure there is paper in the cassette before you start the alignment
procedure.

Press Function , 2 , 2 .

Press Start . The MFC prints a sample page.
Study the alignment page and decide which sample numbers show the most
evenly printed ink lines for 300 and 600 dpi.

Using the dial pad, enter the level of adjustment needed for 300 dpi (1 to 9).

Using the dial pad, enter the level of adjustment needed for 600 dpi (1 to 9).

Print another sample Test Print and check it (see page 23-9).

Press Stop to exit.
