Using the PhotoCapture

Center

from Your PC

(For Windows

®

Only)

Introduction

1

Insert a SmartMedia

or CompactFlash

card into your MFC.

2

In Windows

®

Explorer on your PC, double-click the Removable Disk icon. The

files and folders that are on the media card will be displayed on your PC screen.

Caution

Do not unplug the power cord, USB cable or remove a SmartMedia

or

CompactFlash

card from the MFC while the MFC is reading the card (LED is

flashing). You can loose data or damage the card.

The PhotoCapture Center

feature requires a USB cable connection to your PC

and will work only with Window

®

98/98SE, ME and 2000 Professional.

Note

If both media cards are inserted at the same time, the PhotoCapture Center

will read only the card that was installed first. To have access to the other card,
you must first remove both cards, then insert the media card you wish to access.

Note

While the MFC is printing from the PhotoCapture Center

function, the PC

cannot access the PhotoCapture Center

for another operation.
