1 Shut down your Macintosh.
2 Attach one end of a thin coaxial cable to the T-connector that came with your card.
Don’t attach the T-connector to your computer yet.
3 On the computer closest to your computer, detach the network cable (or terminator) from
its T-connector.
This disrupts network services for other users.
4 Lock the free end of your thin coaxial cable to the T-connector on the other computer.

WARNING Do not connect the Ethernet cable directly to the coaxial port
on the back of the computer. The cable must first be attached to the
T-connector and the T-connector must be attached to the coaxial port.
