2 Remove the internal modem card.
3 Remove the communication card from its static-proof bag.
Hold the card by its edges to avoid touching its connectors.
Note: If the card you are installing is a thin coax Ethernet card, you must
remove the T-connector on the card in order to fit the connector through the
access cover.
4 Align the card over the communication slot.

The internal modem card has a hook on it that engages the hole in the communication
card access cover. Remove the card by pulling on this end of the modem card and
pivoting it out of the communication card slot.
