Saving Your CMOS Data
Once you have used the computer’s Setup Program to
configure your new computer for your operating
environment and options, you should save the data stored
in the
CMOS RAM
to your own custom file.
To save the current
CMOS RAM
data, at the
MS-DOS C
:\>
prompt type
SETCMOS /S MYFILE.CMS
and press ENTER.
You can type any filename you want instead of the
MYFILE.CMS
filename shown in the example. If you ever
need to restore the computer to your configuration settings,
type your filename to the
SETCMOS /R
command described
previously.
