Normal Power-Up Procedure
After the unit has been put into operation with the
initial power-up and initialization, subsequent power-
up procedure includes only the Power-Up Self Test
followed by the request for a passcode (password) if
this option was selected during initialization.
Use the number keys to enter the previously recorded
passcode followed by pressing Enter.
Correct Passcode
When a correct passcode is entered, the message
Access Granted
is displayed and the unit grants full
access privileges. Press any key to proceed to the
opening menu.
Incorrect Passcode
When an incorrect passcode is entered, the message
Incorrect
is displayed. Press any key to return to the
passcode prompt.
No Passcode
When no passcode is entered the message Limited
Access
is displayed and the unit grants limited access
to the menu system for viewing only. Pressing any
key proceeds to the Main menu. No changes are
allowed until the correct passcode is entered.
The passcode can also be entered using the Utility
menu option.
