4.2 Basic principles of configuration and addressing
This chapter deals with the configuration and address-
ing of an SPC200 on the remote bus for an INTERBUS
master or compatible master.
4.2.1 General information
Before commissioning or programming, you should
compile a configuration list of all the connected field
bus slaves. On the basis of this list you can:
– compare the SET and ACTUAL configurations in
order to detect connection faults.
– access these specifications during addressing and
during a syntax check, in order to avoid addressing
errors.
Please observe the specifications in the following sec-
tions. When you have completed the configuration and
addressing of all the slaves, you can switch on the
power supply and start to commission the INTERBUS.
