If the switch has been assigned a name, the name is displayed below
the switch’s model name.
For information about the command line interface, refer to the AT-S63
Management Software Command Line Interface User’s Guide.
7. To use the menus interface, type menu and press Return.
The Main Menu is shown in Figure 3.

To select a menu item, type the corresponding letter or number.
To return to the command line interface, type C.
When you press the Esc key or type the letter R in a submenu, the
previous menu is displayed.
Quitting a Local
Management
Session
To quit a local management session, return to the Main Menu and type Q
for Quit.
Note
Failure to properly exit from a management session may block
future management sessions until the console timer times out.
You should always exit from a management session when you are
finished managing a switch. This can prevent unauthorized individuals
from making changes to a switch’s configuration if you leave your
management station unattended. For information about how to use the
console timer to automatically disconnect a management session, refer to
“Configuring the Console Timer” on page 74.
