Clearing the CMOS Register

Jumper block J7A1 controls whether settings stored in CMOS nonvolatile memory (NVRAM) are
retained during a system reset. By default, the system does not keep the default values in this register.
You can configure J7A1 to restore the system defaults.

Clearing System Password

Jumper block J7A1 controls whether a stored password is retained or cleared during a system reset.
By default, the system retains this password. To clear it you must configure jumper block J7A1.
