The configuration options displayed will vary based on the selected device
set: wired, wireless, or both.
a. Click the radio buttons to select the authentication method for the
selected device types. Only one method can be applied.
For Wired devices the 802.1X authentication options are:
– Use EAP-capable RADIUS
– Use CHAP (MD5)-capable RADIUS
For Wireless devices the 802.1X authentication options are:
– WPA - TKIP
– WPA2 - TKIP
– WPA2 - CCMP (AES)
– WPA2 - Mixed mode AES-TKIP

ProCurve Manager v2.3 Network Administrator’s Guide
for a more
complete description of the wireless (WLAN) security settings.
b. Click the Advanced Settings for Wired 802.1X to configure the
advanced settings.
