MQCONFIG_01
This is the name given to an MQ environment. It is only used within OVNM. There can be up to 20 MQ
environments defined. There are five parameters defined for each environment, all ending with a 2-digit
number.
•
MQMACNINIFILE_01
This is the name of the INI file used by the MQ environment. For MQ versions prior to 5.3, it will be a
Guardian file. For newer versions of MQ, it will be an OSS file.

MQOBEYFILE_01
This is the name of an obey file that will contain the TACL PARAM commands that are required by MQ.
This obey file can either contain the actual PARAM statements or it can be an Tacl command that will cause
the PARAM statements to be executed.

MQCPU_01
This is the cpu assignment for the MQSVR53 object file.
•
MQPRI_01
This is the priority to be used for the MQSVR53 process.
•
Secondary_Logon
This is used with a product like Xygate in which another command must be executed to ‘become’ the
correct Guardian user id.
•
SecondaryTaclPrompt
This is used to tell the HIC what Tacl prompt number to expect when all the second logon has completed.

Check for the availability of BASE24 plug-in. Can have a value of Yes or No.

closetdf
OVNM will open the TDF file to read the process thresholds anytime or only when necessary, that is, when
the polling interval expires. Can have a value of Yes or No.

Select BASE24 LINE objects to be monitored via the ListObjects command. Can have a value of Yes or No.

Select BASE24 LINK objects to be monitored via the ListObjects command. Can have a value of Yes or No.
