• Apply Patch: This option allows you to upgrade the software with a new patch or fix. Clicking on this
option displays the OVNM Host Installation Client message box with the date when the OVNM product key
will expire.
Clicking the OK button in the message box displays the Apply Patch for Configuration dialog box.

Enter the User ID and Password and select the Upgrade File using the Browse button. Click the Apply button to
initiate the process.
NOTE: The patch/IPM file is supplied by HP support to fix a known or reported problem. The patch file can be
located anywhere on the workstation where it can be accessed.
