HPSVSP_ControllerConfigurationService : CIM_ControllerConfigurationService
Class introduction
This service allows SMI-S clients to create and remove access paths between host initiator ports and
StorageVirtualDisks (virtual disks and snapshots-on-virtual disks) at a logical unit number with read/write
or read access. In product terms, this interface allows clients to assign hosts permissions to virtual
disks and snapshots-on-virtual disks.
Note that the SMI Masking and Mapping profile from which this profile is adapted exposes
StorageVirtualDisks to InitiatorPorts. This profile constrains the set of InitiatorPorts to be one or more
subsets of ports each of which correspond exactly to a set connected to a host. This effectively makes
the profile expose VirtualDisks to Hosts.
