Method overview

Depending on the configuration method implied by the Goal property ExtentStripeLength, this method
returns either:

The set of available Primordial and StripeSet extents that can be used to create a Configured
(Concrete) Pool, OR

The set of available Primordial extents that can be used to create a StripeSet Composite extent.

If there are insufficient extents to create the element with the specified goal, then no extents are
returned. Return either of the following (see the ValueMap for SNIA_StoragePool.mof for complete
list of allowed values): 0 ("Completed without error") or 4 ("Failed").

unused ImportedExtent and StripeSet extents
for use in creating a ConfiguredPool. Extent-
StripeLengthMin and Max should be set to 1
also but are ignored.
If Goal.ExtentStripeLength >= 2, then return
unused ImportedExtents for use in creating a
StripeSet.
