CreateGroupReplica

Method overview

This method allows a client to create (or start a task to create) a new group of storage objects which
are replicas of the specified source storage or a group of source storage objects (SourceElements).

This method is used to affect the following VSM operations:

Create a snapclone group for a virtual disk group or virtual disk group snapshot with first snapclone
job. The pool for the target group may be in the local SVSP domain or a remote SVSP domain.

Create a migration group with MigrationJob for a virtual disk group. The pool for the target group
is in the local SVSP domain only.

Create an asynchronous mirror group for a virtual disk group with first MirroringJob. The pool for
the target group may be in the local SVSP domain or a remote SVSP domain.

For the MultiApp operations, an instance of a distinct subclass of SynchronizationAspect is created
to represent the MultiApp group together with an instance of SettingsDefineState associating it to the
source group. An instance of a distinct subclass of SNIA_GroupSynchronized is created to represent
the first Multi-App job and associates the source group with the created instance of
HPSVSP_VirtualDiskGroup : SNIA_ReplicationGroup, which in turn aggregates created instances of
HPSVSP_VirtualDisk : CIM_StorageVirtualDisk. Instances of SNIA_StorageSynchronized are created
to associate each individual source object in the source group with its corresponding target object in
the target group.

Supported return values:

0 (Success)

1 (Not Supported)

4 (Failed)

5 (Invalid Parameter).
