c. Click the check box to select the setting to configure, then enter the
parameter to be applied.
When a parameter is configured, the Reset to default values option is
enabled. Click the link to restore the advanced settings for wired MAC-
Auth defaults.
Advanced MAC-Auth settings for wired devices include:
Option

Address limit
The port's maximum number of authenticated MAC addresses.
Default is 1.
Re-auth period The re-authentication timeout (in seconds. Default is set to 0 to
disable re-authentication. Valid values are 0-999999999.
Logoff period
The period of time (seconds) after which a client will be
considered removed from the port for a lack of activity. Disabled
by default. Valid values are 0-999999999 with 0 indicating disabled
Quiet period
The period of time the switch does not try to acquire a supplicant.
Valid values are 0-65535. The default value is 60 seconds.
Max requests
The maximum number of times the switch retransmits
authentication requests. Valid values are 1-10. The default value
is 2.
Server timeout The authentication server response timeout (default 30 sec). Valid
values are 1-300.
