-mediaserver
- Backup Exec media server name. This is valid only
if Symantec Backup Exec software is in use.

-device
- Backup Exec device name configured for Backup. This is valid
only if Symantec Backup Exec software is in use.

-level log|Full
- Optional. Verify the LOG files and DB files. To verify only LOG files,
use -level log. This cannot be used with the -nc option.
•
-noemail
- Optional. Do not send an email notification even if configured for this operation.
•
(For Exchange 2007)-lcr - Optional. Take the snapshot from the local continuous replication
copy.
•
(For Exchange 2007)-active - Optional. One-step backup from the active CCR node (applies
for CCR configurations only, and can only perform backup for the node at the local site). The
active node is the default if -active is not specified.
•
(For Exchange 2007)-passive - Optional. One-step backup on the passive CCR node
(applies for CCR configurations only, and can only perform backup for the node at the local
site). The active node is the default if -passive or -active are not specified.
NOTE:
Use quotes ("") where spaces are included.
NOTE:
Symantec NetBackup software is case sensitive. Make sure all information entered
pertaining to the policy is supplied with the proper case.
Example
(For Exchange 2010/ Exchange 2013) The following command uses NetBackup to perform a
backup of virtual copy 020405162103 whose data has currently been mounted on the server S1.
HpRmCli Exch backup -mdb mailboxdatabase -t 020405162103 -vs S1 -p test
-d full -m bottlenosed
The following command uses Data Protector to perform a backup of virtual copy 07221102153.
HpRmCli Exch backup -mdb mailboxdatabase -t 072211021532 -vs S1 -dl
rme_dl
(For Exchange 2007) The following command performs a backup of virtual copy 020405162103
whose data has currently been mounted.

DESCRIPTION
The HpRmCli Exch config command will display or change the timeout value for NetBackup
initialization process detection for backup operation and the monitoring interval for remote copy
progress on target server.
