Mounting oF the coMpensating reserVoir and the Master cylinder

the Magura BraKesysteM includes
the FolloWing parts:
> Master cylinder
> Compensating reservoir with individual parts
> Tubing kit with individual parts
> Brake caliper
> Fork end
> Brake disc
tools:
> 5 mm Allen key for clamp
If mounting with MAGURA
compensating reservoir:
> 3 mm Allen key
> Flat pliers
We strongly recommend that
the MAGURA compensating
reservoir is used, since the
mounting of the reservoir is
specially matched to the master
cylinder and the compensating
reservoir components are desi-
gned for the requirements of
the brake fluid.
procedure:
> Mount holder (50) as shown in the figure. To do this use screws (40). Tightening torque of screws:
3 Nm +/- 0.5 Nm
> Push hose (20) onto connecting piece (60)
> Push 1st hose clip (30) with the flat pliers onto the hose over the connecting piece
> Push 2nd hose clip (30) with flat pliers as far as the middle of the hose
> Push compensating reservoir with connecting piece onto the open end of the hose
–>Depth: until hose is at the tank.
caUtion: Note alignment of screw-in plate of compensating
reservoir!
