A. Tank names conversion
Abbreviated tank names are used in the software. To generate a list of all tank
names, print out the service report “Tank Names report”.

B. Loadcalc Stability Criteria
The CARGOMASTER® Loadcalc is based upon the following IMO criteria:
• GMo at least 0.15m
• GZ at least 0.20m at 30 degrees or greater heel
• GZ peak angle 25 degrees or greater
• Area 0-30 degrees at least 3.15 mDeg
• Area 0-40 degrees at least 5.16 mDeg
• Area 30-40 degrees at least 1.72 mDeg
C. Note on free surfaces
Due to the treatment of tank capacity data in the program, replication of
loading conditions contained within the approved stability booklet may not
generate the same results. The software employs even keel calibration data,
and a traditional free surface correction approach, which will give more
erroneous results.
