OK, and you are back in the “Sensor Change” window.
Note that both the existing (or “old”) and the new sensors are shown.
Again, read this information carefully, you have to verify that you
actually replace the data for the correct sensors! When you click OK,
the final confirmation dialogue is raised:
Replace Sensor screenshot# 5: Final confirmation of sensor change. If your new sensor
has a different range than the original one, a warning will be present in this dialogue.
Offset and gain adjustments
Cargomaster, versions 1.06 and later, offers the possibility to compensate
incorrectly zero-adjusted sensors, e.g. where a tank has been zeroed with cargo
still in the tank (In versions prior to 1.06 these adjustments have to be applied
trough the configuration tool). Offset adds or subtracts a constant value.
Gain adjustments can also be applied, however not considered an everyday
routine, please read the examples carefully before attempting to adjust the gain
settings. Gain adjustments adds or subtracts a percentage correction.
Offset adjustment
From the Tank Info – Service tab window, check the box for “Allow change of
offset/gain”. This will enable input in the NvramOffset and NvramGain
columns (The fields with white background are enabled for input). See
