Local
In Local mode, any silencing or acknowledging will only affect the computer
that silence or acknowledge is performed from. Each computer can have it’s
own alarm limits settings.
Local with global silence
Same as the previous option, but pressing silence on any computer will cause
silence for all computers, including also horns and flashlights.
Alarm master/slave
In a Cargomaster network, alarms can only be acknowledged from the
computer acting as Alarm Master. This computer role is selected from Alarm
Overview (Alt-F11) – Alarm Master dialogue, see figure below:

The role of Alarm Master can only be transferred from the computer that
already has that role.
On the Alarm Master select Alarm Overview (Alt-F11) – click Alarm
Master and select the computer that is to be the new Alarm Master. Note that
any other networked Cargomaster computer/workstation can still silence
alarms.
