Fixed/Random Wt.
• When item(s) are to be sold as a specific weight, select
Fixed Wt
.

Example:
Packaged product may be sold in 1 lb. containers. The
label displays a net weight of 1 lb for every package produced.
The
fixed weight displayed equals the product’s Minimum Weight Value.
• When the weight of an item varies from package to package, select
Random Wt
.

Example:
Product in a food processing plant is often “sold by the
pound” and varies in weight per case. When printing random
weights, the actual Net Weight Value displays on the label.
Tare Weight
Sets the Tare Weight (non-product weight; i.e. wrappers, carton, etc) for a
product.
Label Format
Sets in which format the labels will print. Fairbanks currently offers three
barcode label formats and one human readable format.
Boxes/Pallet
Specifies how many boxes are loaded per pallet.
Distributor
Lists the different pre-programmed Distributors in a drop-down menu.
Date Offset
Used for dating an item’s distribution or production, identifying its shelf-life
time. There are four choices:

(11) Production Date
– When the item was produced.

(13) Packaged Date
– When the item was packaged
.

(15) Best Before/Expiration Date
– Used for time-sensitive
consumables.

(17) Sell By Date –
Also used for time-sensitive items in the food
industry.
Offset Days
Specifies how many days past the production date that the Date Offset
should be calculated. Value is zero (0) for Date Offsets 11 and 13.
