Gun Head Assembly (’75 Model)
Th e ’75 model gun head is assembled in the same manner as the ’80 model instructions,
with the exception of steps 22 and 23. After you have completed step 21 in the
instructions, follow the below steps and return to step 24 to complete your assembly:
1. Position two of the three provided o-rings on the nipples (pipe threaded end).
2. Screw the nipples into the gun head (o-ring end first). One in the center hole on
the flat portion of the head, one in the outboard hole opposite the side of the gun
head ma
rked “catalyst”. Tighten.
3. Attach the elbows (2 each) to the nipples. The resin elbow locates over the right
corner of the gun head; the port facing toward the needles. The flush locates over
the opposite corner on the catalyst side.
4. Thread the locknut onto the adaptor.
5.
Install the third 9/16” o-ring onto the interrupted thread area on the adaptor, and
install adaptor into the gun head.
6. Secure by tightening the locknut against the gun head when the o-ring has seated
in the gun head and the port in the adaptor is facing the corner of the head.
7. Install the catalyst hose nipple in the adaptor. MVP recommends Teflon tape here
to prevent catalyst leak. Tighten snug.
