14. Turn lock nuts onto resin and catalyst needles (bevel side of lock nut towards gun).
Screw approximately 2/3 of the way down onto the needle threads.
15. Attach needle guides to the resin and catalyst needle.
16. Insert injector into side hole of catalyst chamber (gun head is marked). Screw
injector into gun head until o-ring on injector bottoms out.
Caution: Do not over tighten.
To remove injector when damaged or worn, see instructions below. This instruction
sheet also describes how to remove gelled material from gun chamber.
INJECTOR INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
To Remove Catalyst Injector Nozzle
Remove side plug, front plugs, spring and check ball. Install Drill Bushing (45036-1) into
gun block (figure 1 above). Install #4 drill (00002) into drill chuck and drill injector out
(figure 1 above). Remove drill and drill bushing from gun head, clean threads with 1/4-28
tap (00001) see figure 2 above.
To Clean Gelled Resin from Mix Chamber
Install Drill Bushing (45034- 1) into gun head. Install 1/8” (.125) diameter drill (45035-1) in
drill chuck (figure 3). Drill full 2-3/8 inches.
