Yearly Maintenance Schedule (Average)
This schedule is based on one 8-hour shift, 5 day work week, using standard G.P. resin
(an idle unit left with resin in it may require more frequent part changes). When using
gelcoats or filled materials, figures and wear factors should be approximately 50% more
on the resin side of the system unless abrasive kits are used in both gun head and resin
pump. When replacing any parts, follow instructions in Trouble Shooting Manual for the
particular component.
Catalyst Feed Jug Assembly:
Daily:
Check feed & return for leaks
Monthly: Check and clean tubes & filter screens
3 Month Intervals: Clean catalyst jug
Catalyst Hose:
Daily:
Check for leaks and/or cracks in outer lining.
Yearly: Replace hose
Flush Line:
Daily:
Clean and inspect for wear and/or leaks.
Yearly: Replace hose.
Chopper:
Daily:
Oil air motor every 4 hours of running.
Adjust rubber roll and idler.
Weekly: Replace blades
Replace rubber roll.
Clean Silencer
3 Month Intervals: Replace bearings & washer
Check air tube for wear
6 Month Intervals: Replace bearing, vanes & seals in air motor
Manifold Assembly:
Daily:
Drain water trap
Weekly: Check gauges and regulators for wear
Resin Accumulator:
Weekly:
Wash and clean inside
3 Month Intervals: Replace Spring, Stainless Steel Ball & O-rings
Resin Filter:
Weekly:
Wash and clean filter screen weekly or whenever changing from one
material to another. Adjust screen mesh size according to material being
used.
Resin Pump Powerhead:
Weekly:
Check Oiler
Clean silencers (wash in solvent and blow dry with air)
