12.2.4. Exporting Metadata
During the creation of the export target profile, if the Generate EVS metadata file option
has been selected in the High Resolution File Creation dialog box, in the Proxy/LoRes File
Creation dialog box and/or in the Export to EVS Video Server dialog box, an evs.xml file
that contains all the metadata associated to the A/V material is created for each
codec/format, and destination folder defined in the target profile.
12.2.5. Exporting Logs
During the creation of the export target profile, if the Generate log sheet file or the
Export logs as locators to Avid option has been selected in the Export Log Sheet File
dialog box, storyboard cut points are exported as logs.
•
Storyboard start timecode and storyboard end timecode are considered as cut points.
•
Each cut point between the start and the end of the storyboard contains 2 logs: on for
the IN point and one for the OUT point.
Each log will contain the following information:
•
No ranking
•
No keyword
•
Description giving the source media label, the TC IN or TC OUT of the source media
shot by the camera, and the shooting date.
12.2.6. Other Possible Actions on Export Jobs
Deleting an item in the list of export jobs
Right-click the item in the list that you want to remove, and select Delete Selected Item
from the contextual menu
OR
Select the item and press the Delete key.
Clearing the list of export jobs
To clear the list of export jobs, already exported or not, click the Clear List button at the
bottom of the Export Tool area.
It does not clear the output of export jobs stored on the various destination folders.
