Tools
The tools screen’s preferences panel allows you to do the following:

Enter
(login name, display name, and password) (BAS mode only)
•
Assign custom
to various BluStar 8000i actions
•
Control

Whether or not you wish your terminal to automatically answer incoming calls

Adjusting the H transmit rates (bandwidth)

Specify the
connection settings used by the terminal to communicate with your network

to control screen brightness, calibrate the touchscreen, check for software updates, or reset the terminal to

Configure the
User Identity
The user identity is pre-configured by the system administrator. If you have any questions about your user identity, please
contact your system administrator. Users can, however, change their password on this screen.
Note:
The user identity screen is not available in SIP Call Server mode.

Settings on this screen that the user cannot edit are represented by grey text. Please contact your system administrator
for assistance with information entered in the user identity fields.
