Chapter 9 Specifications
„ Side view mirror adapter specifications
The following specifications represent the performance of the side view mirror
adapter (optional) when it is attached to the insertion tube. The side view mirror
adapter can be attached to the IV8630M.
CAUTION
• Clean and dry the side view mirror adapter immediately after it has been immersed in water.
Otherwise, the adapter may corrode, swell and becomes unable to be removed from the
insertion tube.
NOTE
*1 • The image becomes reversed.
• Due to the way the mirror is made, it may reflect a whitish image in some cases. However,
the mirror is not damaged or dirty. In such cases, move it closer to the object to prevent
the whitish image.
*2 Images other than the mirror image are visible when the adapter is mounted on the
insertion tube.
*3 Indicates the range within which the image can be viewed clearly.
*4 The adapter can be inserted into a
φ 7.4 mm hole when it is mounted on the insertion tube.
*5 Indicates the length of the rigid portion at the insertion tube’s distal end when the adapter is
mounted.
