Chapter 8 Troubleshooting
The image is
not sharp.
The object lens on the scope distal
end is dirty.
Wipe it with a clean piece of gauze or
cotton swab.
The side view mirror adapter is
attached improperly.
Attach the side view mirror adapter
properly.
The external monitor is adjusted
incorrectly.
Correctly adjust the external monitor.
The image
brightness is
not optimum.
The automatic brightness control is
set erroneously.
Perform the [BRT] lever operation to
configure the proper setting.
The object lens on the insertion tube
distal end is dirty or the illumination is
dirty.
Wipe them with a clean piece of
gauze or cotton swab.
The external monitor is adjusted
incorrectly.
Correctly adjust the external monitor.
Color
reproduction is
poor.
The white balance is set improperly.
Re-adjust the white balance.
The image is
noisy.
The automatic brightness control is
set erroneously.
Perform the [BRT] lever operation to
configure the proper setting.
Angulation
cannot be
returned to its
original attitude.
The angulation lock is set.
Pull the [ANGLE LOCK] lever up until
it clicks to release the angle lock.
Operation load
for articulation
is getting
heavier.
Angle lock function may effect.
Pull the [ANGLE LOCK] lever up until
it clicks to release the angle lock.
Control unit is
emitting loud
noise or
vibrating
violently.
The insertion tube is overloaded.
Remove your finger from the [ANGLE]
joystick and then extend the insertion
tube as much as possible to reduce
the loop amount.
The beep can
not be heard.
“BEEP ON/OFF” is set to “OFF”.
Set “BEEP ON/OFF” to “ON”.
