Setting the Time Exposure Mode
The time exposure mode is used when photographing bright subjects such as
fireworks and racecars in a dark place.
This feature can be used in the still picture mode [
].
Important
Note • Mount the camera on a tripod, etc., when using the Time Exposure
mode.

Set the mode dial to [ ] and press
the MENU button.

Press the or button to select
[TIME EXPOSURE].

Press the or button to select the
exposure time (OFF, 1 SEC., 2 SEC., 4
SEC., 8 SEC.) and press the ENTER
button.

Press the MENU button.

Press the shutter release button to
shoot the image.
Note • The time exposure mode cannot be set in the PRO mode (PRO, PRO-
L, PRO-H) or auto bracket shooting.
