How to Hold the Camera
Unintentional movement of the camera during shooting will result in blurred
images. To avoid such so-called “camera shake”, hold the camera as described
below. Be particularly careful to avoid camera shake with telephoto zoom shots.

Hold the camera steady with both hands with your elbows close to
your body.
● When viewing through the viewfinder
With the camera pressed lightly to your face, aim it at your subject while looking
through the viewfinder.
● When viewing on the LCD monitor
Hold the camera firmly in both hands, and aim it at your subject while looking at
the LCD monitor.

Press the shutter release button lightly with your fingertip.
