The recording data will be displayed on the
LCD panel or on the LCD monitor.
● LCD Monitor Display
When the LCD monitor is open, the display
appears, and when the LCD monitor is
closed, the display is cleared.
Note • If the LCD monitor is difficult to see, for example in bright sunlight,
press the LCD LIGHT button to adjust the brightness. See “Adjusting
the Brightness of the LCD Monitor”

Selecting a Recording Destination
Select whether to record shot files in the internal memory or on the SmartMedia
memory card mounted in the camera.

: Records in the internal memory
• : Records on the SmartMedia memory card

Press the button and select the
recording destination ( • ).
The recording destination changes each time
the
button is pressed.
The selected recording destination will be
displayed.
Note • If a SmartMedia memory card is
mounted in the camera when it is
turned on, the
mark will be
displayed. To set the internal
memory as the recording
destination, enable the keep
settings mode. See “Keep Settings”
→
