Note

• In continuous shooting mode, no image appears on the LCD monitor

while pictures are being taken.

• Do not open the battery cover or card door or detach the AC adapter

(optional) during recording.

• The AF LED and Recording destination (

) will blink while the

image is being recorded. Do not rotate the mode dial or turn off the
power until recording has been completed.

It is not possible to operate the

button or use the MENU

button to display the menu screen while an image is being recorded.

Maximum number of continuous pictures

The maximum number of pictures that can be taken continuously depends on
the image quality mode.

* The table shows the maximum number of pictures that can be taken continuously at

one time. The available space on the SmartMedia memory card or internal memory
may allow extended shooting.

Motion Picture Shooting (Motion Picture Mode)

This mode is for recording motion pictures. The recordable time is displayed
according to the available capacity in the recording destination. Sound is

incorporated in the recording.
