Recording Capacities

The table below gives approximate recording picture counts available by
SmartMedia memory card capacity and by picture quality/size.

* Sizes (no. of pixels) are as follows.

: 3072

2304 pixels

: 2048

1536 pixels

: 1024

768 pixels

: 640

480 pixels

* Image quality (compression rate) is as follows.

: Fine
: Normal
: Economy
: Non-compressed

* Units are as follows.

For still picture files and text files: number of images.
For moving image files: number of seconds.
For sound files: number of minutes.

Note

• Even when “1” is displayed as the number of recordable picture in the

Text mode, recording may not be possible in some cases, depending
on the subject.

• The internal memory is similar to an 8 MB SmartMedia memory card.
