Variable definitions
Parameter

address
Specifies the TFTP server IP address.
filename
Specifies the configuration file name.
load-on-boot {disable | use-bootp | use config}
Specifies the settings to automatically load a
configuration file during system startup.
disable—disables the automatic loading of the
configuration file.
use-bootp—specifies loading the ASCII
configuration file at system start and using
Bootp to obtain values for the TFTP address
and file name.
use-config—specifies loading the ASCII
configuration file at system start and using the
locally configured values for the TFTP address
and file name.
If you omit the variables, the system
immediately downloads and runs the ASCII
configuration file.
Device Manager configuration files
You can use Device Manager to store the current ASCII switch
configuration file to a TFTP server, retrieve an ASCII configuration file from
a TFTP server to apply to a switch, store or retrieve a binary configuration
file, or manually save the current configuration to flash memory. You can
also designate a configuration to download automatically at switch startup
time.

Perform the procedures in this section to store, retrieve, and manage
ASCII and binary configuration files using Device Manager. Job aids

procedures.
